Content and Brand Development Specialist

Under the guidance of the Director of Sales & Marketing, the position is responsible for creating a technical marketing presence for Albarrie products and services. These duties include but are not limited to creating a presence within the industries Albarrie serves, by consulting with stakeholders and consultants to brand industrial product lines with a creative flair, technical writing, development of social media campaigns, and other marketing. The remaining points are inserted under the duties and responsibilities section.

Key Relationships:

Internally: Director of Sales & Marketing, Management Team, Marketing Team, Sales & Customer Service Team, Brand & Customer Engagement Leader, Digital Marketing Specialist.

Externally: Customers, Suppliers and Corporate Partners

Qualifications:

Education Essential:

  • Completion of a University degree in Marketing/Business Administration.
  • Bilingualism in English and French – preferred.

 Knowledge Essential: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in a technical/industrial marketing role
  • 5+ years’ experience leading technical marketing strategies and reporting results.
  • Proficient in online/digital marketing strategies.
  • Required working experience with Adobe Suites to create print, online and customer facing materials.
  • Required working experience with Google Analytics.
  • Required experience in B2B marketing and brand awareness.
    Skills and Abilities Essential:
    • Competence as a creative technical writer with an eye for detail. 
    • Strong quantitative thinker with the ability to leverage key metrics to refine
      marketing strategies and improve the Albarrie brand awareness. 
    • Ability to work independently as well as cohesively with employees and
      managers. 
    • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to maintain an excellent rapport with
      colleagues and corporate partners. 
    • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution abilities. 
    • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous
      deadlines. 
    • An energetic individual with the ability to perform tasks independently and with a
      strong ability to motivate others by example and attitude. 
    • Ability to travel when necessary.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Conceptualize, and collaborate with the Digital Marketing Specialist for all creative deliverables and marketing content including major campaigns, website and SEO optimization, social media content, email marketing, and all marketing collateral.
    • Initiate market research studies, with data analysis, establishing appropriate
      proposals for improving products and services. 
    • Create/ design marketing materials for products and develop tools to attract new
      customers and prospects. 
    • Coordinate with creative teams from external vendors to create Albarrie’s branding
      through, website design, online webinars, and events, etc. 
    • Evaluate and enhance Albarrie’s marketing programs to achieve their stated
      objectives, including lead generation, ROI, and customer retention.  
    • Develop and write technical and relevant industrial content on product offerings for
      Albarrie’s distinct product lines. 
    • Create and standardize brand packaging for new development and product
      offerings, including product’s warranty and maintenance instructions.  
    • Planning and evaluate the related advertising campaigns, including web, social
      media, AdWords, and target advertising, to promote sales of products and service. 
    • Increase brand awareness through assessing competitor(s) products and market
      presence and identify alternative marketing solutions. 
    • Plan and coordinate tradeshows and events to promote the Company and it’s
      various product lines. 
    Mental Effort Required to Perform the Job:
    • Frequent mental attentiveness and listening is required when coordinating
      marketing efforts, reviewing content and/or designing. 
    • Frequent mental effort is required in multi-tasking and handling interruptions that
      require constant refocusing. 
    • Frequently jobs may have dissimilar tasks and may require a high degree of
      accuracy. 
    Physical Effort Required to Perform the Job:
    • Occasionally sitting for periods of time. 
    • Occasionally working in a production environment, for marketing content.
    • Occasionally traveling to tradeshows.

      • Evaluating markets and product lines, to determine where to market. 
      • Reporting on marketing programs and their ROI.
