Quality Inspector – Day Shift

Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor the position performs a variety of sewing quality control and conformance functions. These duties include but are not limited to reading specs and examining filter bags to ensure they meet Albarrie quality standards.

Problem solving skills in order to resolve conflicts and problems.
Excellent interpersonal skills in order to maintain an excellent rapport with co-workers.
Detail oriented and excellent organizational multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
Ability to stand stationary at an inspection station for extended periods of time.

Job Responsibilities:

Inspects filter bags upon completion to ensure they meet Albarrie’s quality standards.
Stacking filter bags on folding table.
Inspects the cell plates to ensure the correct plates are used so the proper fit is achieved.
Repairs returned filter bags from customers as per spec.
Occasionally tapes boxes before they are filled, as needed.
Completes order information on shipping materials.
Fill out quality control sheets for all specs.
Maintains complete knowledge of and comply with company and departmental policies, procedures and standards.
Maintains client and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure.
Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.
Sewing experience is an asset.
