STRONG, LOW COST, LOW TEMPERATURE POLYESTER FILTER BAGS

Polyester is a low-cost, widely available standard fiber used across many industries for industrial air filtration. It offers excellent tensile strength and oxidation resistance with good mechanical stability.

Albarrie offers polyester baghouse filter bags for lower-temperature applications where chemicals and humidity are not high, such as baghouses working to suppress dust in aggregate processing. Polyester’s operating temperature is up to 300°F (150°C) with surges up to 340°F (170°), one of the lowest operating temperatures in our product line. Since it doesn’t perform well in moist environments, we recommend this fiber for dry conditions with low acids and alkalis.

Improve a polyester baghouse filter bag with Albarrie’s specialized Tandem Filter Bag. Layering polyester with P84® Polyimide enlarges the filter’s surface area and improves performance in low temperatures with more aggressive chemical environments like cement finish mills and pellet mills.
